Auckland, January 12. The Hinemoa is still at Waiwera. Information from the authorities states that the decision now rests with the Home Government, with whom the Agent-General is in communication. Wellington, January 13. Mr James Janiieson, manager of the Union Bank of Australia, expired at one o'clock this morning, after an illness lasting only a few hours. He ;ippeared at the bank yesterday in his usual health, but about mid-day he was suddenly seized with pain in the abdomen. Medical aid was summoned, but Mr Jamieson gradually sank. The cause of death/was intestinal inflammation.
