The applications of Mr D. Hannan, Legal Manager for and on behalf of the Long Tunnel Company, for a branch race to connect Holmes’ water-race No. 1027 at a point opposite O’Connell’s garden to the Long Tunnel Company’s dam, also to divert the right and the left-hand branches of Dawson’s Creek, were adjourned till next Court day. The application of Joseph Meade and others for an extended claim was objected to by Isbester and party, M‘Masters and party, and M‘Kenzie and party, and refused.
Henry Ton She applied to construct a water-race in Fern Tree Gully, Back Lead, Teremakau, to divert two Government heads of water.—Granted for one head.
Thomas Jones, by his agent Mr Seddon, applied for a residential area at the Break, near Dillman’s Road.— Granted.
R. M‘Gloue and party, by their agent Mr Seddon, applied for a doublearea claim at Larrikins Terrace, adjoining Shrives and party’s.—Granted. John M‘Keegan applied for a residence area in Seddon street on the Education Reserve.—The application was refused, the School Commissioners objecting.
Peter Bartello, by his agent Mr Hannan,. applied for a residence area fronting the new road at Larrikins.— Granted on same conditions as other grants on Mignonette Plat,
Denis Neville, by his agent Mr Hannan, applied for a residence area fronting the Dillman’s and Christchurch Road.—Granted.
John Gartlemann and party, by their agent Mr Hannan, applied for a special site for stacking stones.—Granted.
Henry Ton She applied to construct a tail-race on Black Lead, Teremakau, Granted.
Richard Rothwell and party applied for protection for 14 days.—Granted.
