"Sculler."—(l.) Mr Deeble, who is acting for Beach, having through a complete oversight forgot to pay the second deposit of £SO in the sculling match Beach v. Clifford, Clifford's deposit being paid, he (Clifford) is now, therefore, nominally the aquatic champion of the world. The match has, however, been restored on the same terms, and will take place on the date originally fixed, Saturday, 28th February. (2.) The match between Hanlan and Clifford, for £SOO a side, takes place on the Parramatta River on the 7th prox.; and the match between Hanlan and Beach, for £SOO and the championship of the world (if Beach after his match wiMi Clifford retain the championship) will bo rowed on S;itimlay, 28th March.
