A telegram from Korti states that a strong deatachment of-Infantry, under General Earle, will shortly advance against the Arabs of Meraweh to punish them for the murder of Colonel Stewart at Wad-el-Homar. The expedition will advance towards Khartoum as S')ou as supplies have reached Gakdul ; but -,\ strong jjan'ison will remain ut Korti.
