Sailed this afternoon, the City of Sydney, for San Francisco, via Auckland.

Another case of small-pox occurred here to-day. The Union Steamship Company of New Zealand have issued stringent instructions to all its agents for a thorough medical examination of all passengers by each outward steamer from Australian ports, in order to prevent the introduction of small-pox into New Zealand.
