TENDERS for RE-ADVERTISED INLAND MAIL SERVICES. General Post Office, Wellington, October 30th, 1884. SEALED TENDERS will be received at the several Chief Post Offices until SATURDAY, the Bth proximo, for the performance of the following re-advertised Inland Mail Services:— 4th. Hokitika and Kumara afternoon service (delivering Greymouth mails at Kumara tram station) daily. sth. Hokitika and Ross, via Kanieri, Woodstock and Riuui, daily. 6th. Hokitika and Springfield, via Kumara, Waimea and Stafford, delivering Greymouth mails at Kumara tram station, twice weekly (the service to be performed in accordance with the timetable to be seen at chief post offices.) Contractors whose tenders may be accepted must be prepared to carry out the services for which they tender according to the time-tables framed by the Department. Contractors must, in accordance with the terms and conditions of mail contracts, provide a free box seat on any vehicle, and a free passage by any steamer or boat when required for any officer travelling on the business of the Department. Forms of tender, with terms and conditions of contract, may be procured at any post office. No tender will be considered unless made on the printed form. Tenders (endorsed " Tender for Mail Service No. ") to be addressed and enclosed to the Chief Postmaster of the postal district to which the tender may specially refer. W. GRAY, Secretary.
