A meeting was held this evening for the purpose of arranging a second match between Beach and Hanlati, but without success, as Beach had already made arrangements to row a match with Clifford for the championship of the world. The meeting is postponed for a week in order to get Clifford's sanction to cancel the match between himself and Beach, and enable the latter to make further arrangements with Hanlan.
