SANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the Univer* sity, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— ihe Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaldings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem her, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney> either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, Hthia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professoi . Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says It is the best remedy known in typhonialarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c.; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Lonis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881).: —Cancer ot the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis. Prescribed four drops to be taken three times daily j also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract, Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J, H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., & c ., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mv Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881).—Surgical Clinic of Professor M'lntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer and MHntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully • the patient allowed to attend to her household duties asrain. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually contamination of the blood in foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan 1 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen specil mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is tin; on I" ..vistin<' volatile extract, free cf resinous particles. All other preparations of the. Eucalyptus, no matter where manufnotuied, aie ciude, resinous oils, irritation and blistering, rather causing infhum (nation than staying it, and of readauger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trade mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
