GLOUCESTERSHIRE,
(Received August 9, 4.5 p.m.) London, August S, The cricket match, Australians v. Gloucestershire was resumed to-day at Clifton. There was a large attendance of spectators, and the weather was fine, and the wicket lively.
The Australians, with 14 runs up and no wickets down, continued their first innings, which had not concluded when the stumps were drawn for the day, the sore then standing at 295 for eight wickets. The fin owing were ths highest scorers ; —L- junoh, howled,
62; Bannerraan, bowled, 23; Giffen, bowled, 48; Scott, not out, 78; Bonnor, caught, 29. (Received August 11, 1.10 a.m.) August 9. The cricket match at Clifton, Australians versus Gloucestershire is concluded, aud resulted in a draw. In their first innings the Australians made 314 runs, as against 301 made by the Home team in their first innings.
