ANDER & SONS’ EUCALYPTI ' EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Hosier, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports : The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds, scaltlings, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c., are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c., London, the leading surgeon of the present time, stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published in Gaillard’s Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antisep tic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnal, Novem ber, 1881). —In diseases of the kidney? either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal, Jan., 1882). —Pitzer, M.D., Professor Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, <fec. ; it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Louis Electric Medical Journal, Dec., 1881). —Cancer of the Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis, Prescribed four drops to be taken three limes daily ' } also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Ruttley, M.D., Prof., <kc., Philadelphia).—Since, in the case of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, 1881) Surgical Clinic of Professor MHntyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scirrhus of Breast—Excision: Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight days after operation Professors Bauer anti MvTntyre noted the following condition No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS’ EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).—The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four limes daily. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jaig 1882) Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states; We have examined half a dozen speed mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander’s preparation was the only one which corresponds to scientific tests. Our preparation is the only existing volatile extract, free of nil resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no mailer where manufactured, arc crude, resinous oils, irritating ami blistering, rather causing inflammation than slaying it, and of readanger if erronously applied in throat <(i.-ea--e>, efcc; N" buitles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trade mark, and secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
