[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. VICTORIAN STEEPLECHASE AND HURDLE RACES. CRICKET.—THE NEXT ALL-ENG-LAND MATCH. (Received July 20, 10.18 a.m.) Melbourne, July 19. At the Victorian Racing Club's Winter Meeting to-day, the Grand Steeplechase was won by Chippenham, with Friendless second, Moonlight third. Twelve horses started. Time 7mins. For the Grand National Hurdle Race, nine horses started. Don Quixote won ; Simdowner second, Ringwood third. Time smius. 43secs. (Received July 21, 12.19 a.m.) London, July 19. In consequence of the collapse of the Middlesex county team in the recent match with the Australian cricketers, several alterations have been made in the team chosen to represent All England in the match against the Australians, which commences at Lord's on Monday, every endeavour being made to materially strengthen the representative English eleven.
