[REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph —Copyright. — CRICKET. AUSTRALIANS Y. LEICESTERSHIRE. (Received July 17, 1.47 a.m.) London, July 15. The cricket match Australian team v. eleven of Leicestershire was resumed and concluded to-day. There was a moderate attendance of spectators ; but heavy rain fell at intervals. The visitors in their first innings scored 1 1 5, being 32 more than the Home team. The highest scorers were—M‘Donnell, caught, 26; Midwinter, caught, 52; and Spofforth, caught, 24. In their second innings the Home team only scored 64 ; the Australians thus requiring only 33 to win the match; and this number was obtained without the loss of a wicket, the visitors thus winning the match by ten wickets.

Owing to the rain the wicket was very heavy.
