FEDERAL COUNCIL BILL AND FEDERATION. (Received July 9, 9.38 p.m.) Brisbane, July 10. In the Legislative Assembly this afternoon a draft bill for the constitution of the proposed Australian Federal Council was under consideration. The measure was severely criticised by Macrossan, who agreed to the desirability of federation, Sydney, July 10. Sailed, this evening, the Te Anan, for Auckland.
The Tarawera left Newcastle this afternoon for New Zealand.
