[REUTER’S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright, < CRICKET. AUSTRALIANS V. YORKSHIRE AND NOTTS. (Delayed in transmission.) London, July 4. In the cricket match at Huddersfield, Australians v. Nottingham and Yorkshire, the first innings of the Home team closed for a total of 453. Scotton was the highest scorer, being bowled for 134; his innings throughout was a splendid one; he never gave a chance until bowled. Grimshaw also played a good innings, being caught for 77.—[The match ended in a draw.]
