TheP. and 0. steamship Sutlej, with the inward Suez mails, dated London, May 30, arrived at King George’s Sound this morning. (Received July 1, 2.25 p.m.) Melbourne, July 1. Other cases of illness similar to those which appeared at Malvern and Prahan, and which were believed to be smallpox, continue to' occur in different places. A student at the Hospital is now seriously ill with the same complaint, |and other cases are reported. The affection is said to be highly contagious and difficult to diagnose.
