As there are no Local or New Zealand Races (of any note) until the Melbourne and New Zealaud Cups of 1884, between five and six months from date (19th May), we think it too long to hold, oar clients' money by starting these big events, and therefore open the above Programme on the " Waterloo Cup " Coursing Match, and from our present and past successes morally guaranteeing it will fill. Our programme on Queen's Birthday, filled about 50 per cent, over the original issue, 2893 instead of 2000. Each Ticket has Six Chances, and is drawn on the principle that if a Programme does not fill, prizes are paid pro rata. We reserve to ourselves the right of continuing the sale of shares over advertised number, if necessity demands it, and thereby adding to the value of all Prizes by a pro rata addition. In this instance we shall sell until Monday, 14th July, whatever the number applied for may be. In writing for Tickets it would be better for many reasons to use Two Envelopes. Applications, if by Letter, with Two Twopenny Stamps, and exchange on Cheques Is added. Please write Signature and Address legibly, to avoid errors. Money Orders, Bank Notes and Drafts, Registered Letters and Telegrams received and promptly attended to. N.B.—All Letters containing Coin must be Registered. Be careful to address:—" ROBIN HOOD," care of Thomas Stapleton, Box 238, P. 0., Christchurch ; or care of JubxVL (not J. L.) Fleming, City Baths, Colombo street, Christchurch; care of E. C. Peters, Dill man's Town. No connection with any other Company. Melbourne Cup will follow.
