The cricket match between the Australians and the Yorkshiremen was concluded to-day, at Bradford. The visitors, requiring 68 runs to win, went in for their second innings, but only obtained that number with the loss of seven wickets. They thus won the match by three wickets. The highest scorers were Bannerman, 1.b.w,, 14; Murdoch, caught, 17. The weather was fine, and there was a good attendance, but the recent rain caused the wicket to be heavy, which was greatly in favor of the bowling. (Received June 11, 12.15 p.m.) Sydney, June 11. The New Zealand footballers are now at Bathurst, where they have been hospitably entertained. They play a match to-day against fifteen of the Western Districts. Steady rain fell at Bathurst last night. (Received June 12, 1.10 a.m.) Later. The football match, Western Districts versus New Zealand, was played at Bathurst to-day, and resulted in a fifth victory for the New Zealanders. The weather was showery throughout the day, and the ground heavy, owing to the recent rains. The local men were unable to oppose the visitors with any success, and the latter scored eleven points to their opponents nil, the first goal being kicked by Dunbell within twelve minutes from the commencement of the game. The play of the New Zealand team was very fast, and their style much admired. Subsequently they were entertained at a banquet by the local club.
