The trial of the equity suit Pell versus Clarke has been postponed until the 23rd inst. (Received June 9, 12.45 a.m.) Hobart, June 9. The New Zealand Shipping Company’s chartered steamship Doric ar-
rived here ou Saturday from Plymouth (April 26), en route for Auckland. There are several cases of measles and chicken-pox on board, and one death from small-pox occurred shortly after leaving Plymouth. The passengers for this port have been landed, and placed in quarantine, and the vessel then proceeded on her voyage to Auckland.
