We have subjected a sample of the above-named article to a very careful chemical analysis and examination. The results of the analysis, which are set forth in a separate report, show that this spirit is of good strength,practically free from acidity, and that it contains but traces of solid matter in. solution. Sir—l have the honour to report for your information that the sample of Lnoerial Schiedam Schnapps forwarded by you to me has been submitted to a searching chemical analysis and critical examination, ohe result oL which enables 'uiis to state that it is the finest sample of Schnapps that has yet come under my Eoticu. It has a pure fragrant odour, and is absolutely free from any traco of fusil oil or other injurious impurity, and has evidently been distilled from superior rye grain, always used instead of malt in the preduction of the choicest qualities of Schnapps. It is very smooth to the palate, and in this respect compares favorably with other samples offered tor sale.
