Any person whose name appears on the Valuation Roll now in force, or who has taken out a miner’s right or renewed a miner’s right in any riding up to the 31st December, 1883, is entitled to be placed on the Roll for the year, 1884-5. In cases where the same person has taken out several miners’ rights in a riding during 1883, such person can only excercise ONE VOTE in such riding. Any person who considers himself aggrieved by his own name, or that of any other person being entered on or omitted from the Roll of the riding, may, on or before the last day of May, apply for relief to the Resident Magistrate’s Court in the riding.
