EXAMINATION OF TEACHERS.

The Goverment Gazette of the 24th ult. contains the names of the successful candidates at the examination which took place at the end of January last. Every candidate is to receive a private intimation of bis success or failure, and those whose names are in the fourth list will be advised as to the subjects in which they will require to be examined again. The following are the names of the Westland teachers who, it will be remembered, were examined at the State School, Kumara. An asterisk against a name’ abilities that, the candidate is too young to hold a full certificate . ■ ■
