We must congratulate tlie Hospital Committee and also the united Hospital Feu; Commit'ee on (lie very satisfactory result which has attended their efforts ■'> augment the foods of the Kumara Hospital. The late fete is said to have surpassed in the amount realised anything ot the kind previously on the West Coast. statement of receipts and expenditure is published on the next page. The Committee to-day also tender their sincere thanks to the ladies and gentlemen who so ably assisted them in various ways in making the charitable demonstration the success it has been. To-morrow we purpose publishing a list of the contributors’ names.
