NOTICE is hereby given that the defendant in the above cause.could not be found, and that a copy of summons requiring his attendance at the Warden’s Court, to be holden at the Greenstone, on the 25th day of April, 1884, to answer a complaint that his water-race, No. 1596, situate at Cape Terrace, has been abandoned, apd a prayer that the said race be declared forfeited and the license thereof cancelled, has been left for such defendant at the site of his dwelling, Cape Terrace, and posted thereon on the 10th day of April, at the hour of 3 o’clock p.tn, D. HANNAN, Mining Agent. April 17, 1884. J£R. JAMES PARK, BARRISTER AND SOLICITOR, Sewell Street, Hokitika, Will attend the R.M. and Warden’s Courts. Mr Park will arrive from Hokitika, in the Christchurch coach, early on Friday morning.
