Commotion was seriously injured internally while galloping at Randwick this morning, and it is considered improbable that he will start for the Sydney Cup. (Received April 12, 1.3 a.m.) Brisbane, April 10. The trial of the Brisbane Courier for publication of alleged libels upon members of the Legislative Assembly in an article commenting upon proceedings of the Elections and Qualifications Committee was concluded to-day, and the jury returned a uuanimous verdict of not guilty.
