RIFLE MATCH.—HOKITIKA Y. KUMARA.
According to prearrangement, ten men of the Isb Westland Eiflea arrived at Knmara at 8.30 a.m. 'yesterday (Good Friday) to contest a friendly match with an equal number of the Kumara Eifle Volunteers. They all proceeded to the butts at 9.30 a.m. The ranges were 200, 400, and 500 yards; seven shots at each range. The shooting was net up to the usual average on either side. The Kumara Rifles, however, appeared to be in much better form than and managed to beat their opponents by the large number of’>£B points. Appended are the scores Kumara. Rifles. VoWIc,
