ENTERTAINMENT AT THE SEA ANEW ASYLUM.

[to the editor.] Sir— l noticed in your issue of the sth inst. a paragraph which appeared in the Hokitika Guardian of the 3rd inst. Will you please publish a correction in that paragraph which appeared in the Guardian of the 4th 1 ? The H.D.C. has no need or desire to sail under false colours.—Yours, &c., Wm. S. S. Stanton. Hokitika, April 7, 1884.

[From the Hokitika Guardian, April 4.] A mistake took place in yesterday’s issue of this paper. The paragraph announcing the entertainment that was given at the asylum on the previous evening, stated that it was by the ICumara Club. It should have been Hokitika instead of Kuinara.
