(Deutsche Med Wochensehrift 1879), M osier,, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports:— The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruises, sprains, wounds,'scaldings, broken ribs,' and limbs., It effectually stays'all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived frcftri it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflhnmation of the bronchial tubes and lurigs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c:, arti not to be equalled by anyother medicament'. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D.,.<Professor r <fcc., London, the leading surgeon dfthe.present time, stated at the'last;meeting.of the'Clinicaj Society, London,-as published in Gaillard's Medical Journal, that the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of;preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Journal, Novem ber, 1881).—In diseases of the kidney.either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to | eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI . EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal;, Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professou Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt its the best remedy known in typhomralarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. ~, it effectually retards the disintegration of the animal fluids, which might resnlt in a general breaking-up of the bio ocl and in death. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPT] . EXTRACT. (Prom St. Louis Electric Mediical Journal,. Dec, 1881).—Cancer of tho Tongue—Patient, Mrs W , 3, f 5 years old. Evidenced,scrofulous iliathesis. Prescribed four.drops to He taken three times daily ; also, ton gue wet tod three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for weeks, then discharged cured. (J. H. Puittley, M.D., Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the case <of Mr Mercer, of Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to have his .tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application, of the Eucalypti Extract. Eiight days after operation Professors Ba.iier and'M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend'to her household duties again. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, 'pi events effectually contamination of-the blood.iu foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record, Jan. 1883).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a doze.n specil mens of Eucalypti Extract. Sander's preparation was the only one which corresponds to-scientific tests. Our preparation is the only existing volatile extract, free of all resinous particles. All other preparations of the Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, irritating and blistering, rather causing inflain- ' mation than .staying it, and of readanger if eironously applied in throat diseases, &c. No bottles genuine except those with labels bearing our signature and trade mark, and. secured outside with pink wrapper and green band, the latter bearing our location and signature.
