The following full-powered Steamships, built and fitted expressly for sarrying passengers on long ocean voyages, are each of about 4000 tons register, and make the voyage in about 40 days. One of the Company's steamers leaves Sydney every four weeks for Singapore vnd Hong Kong, under mail contract, connecting at Signapore with the Peninßula and Oriental Company, and Messageries Maritimes steamers w? ndia and Europe (via Suez). Tea and other cargo booked in Hon* Kong at through ratey to all New Zeaand ports for transhipment to Union Company's steamers at Sydney.
