Friendly Societies, Kumara Rifle Volunteers, and Volunteer Fire Brigade, will muster at Dillman's Town, and will start at 10 o'clock a.m. sharp, walking down in procession, headed by the Catholic Brass Band, to the KUMARA RECREATION GROUND, Where the following PROGRAMME OF SPORTS Will be carried out:— Handicap Foot Race.—loo, 200, 300, and 440 yards. To be run in sound sacks ; any competitor with his toes, feet, or legs protruding through the sack to be disqualified from taking a prize. • Young Women's Race, 100 yards.—A Trimmed Hat, valued at L2 10s, for first prize ; second prize, a Muff.
