■ -♦ : [REUTERS TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. FIRE AT AN OIL WAREHOUSE IN SYDNEY. MIRACULOUS ESCAPE OF PASSENGERS IN A BOAT. (Received March 17, Ip.m.) Sydney, March 17. A destructive fire occurred last night at Borthwick’s oil warehouse, George street. The insurances on the property amount to £16,000. A boat containing passengers' from the steamship City of Sydney was yesterday cut in two by the steamer Emu. The occupants of the boat had a miraculous escape.
