The Hospital Fete Committee beg to notify to the public of Kumara and surrounding district that they intend to have a Fancy Goods and Curiosity Stall iu connection with the forthcoming Fete on Easter Monday ; and, to further this object, they would most respectfully solicit donations of any articles to make up their stock for said stall. For this purpose the Committee will thoroughly canvas the district, about the end of the next month, when they will thankfully receive anything that may be offered them, in the shape of fancy goods, curiosities, wearing apparel, &c.; also anything iu the shape of eatables and drinkables; in fact, fliey will not refuse anything excepting grindstones if over lewt., and £SO notes, unless they are Bank of England ones, which would be graciously received as curiosities. The reason why the Committee give this long notice is to give everybody a chance to overhaul their effects, to see if they could not eome across some lilt'e trifle or other which they could spare, towards making the Committee's undertaking a gmnd .success.
