The cargo of mutton per steamship Potosi, from Melbourne, arrived in excellent condition. Paris, March 10. is now advancing against the enemy's position at Bacninh. Ottawa (Canada), March 11. Threats, emanating from Fenians, having been made against the life of Lord Lansdowne, the Guard at Government House has been doubled and other precautions are being taken for the safety of his Excellency. New York, March 11. A snowslip has demolished the works at the Emma Mine, and caused the death of twelve workmen, besides serious injuries to several others.
