(Received February 14, 1.20 p.m.) Sydney, February 14. _ln the Legislative Assembly last night, the me ion of want of confidence in the Government, proposed by Sir John Robertson, leader of the Opposition, came on for discussion. The debate lasted till six o’clock this morning, when the motion was rejected without a division. It is expected the Government will shortly propose some modification of their taxation scheme.
