The Government Bill, for validating the seats of Messrs Reid, Suttor, Cohen, and others, whose elections were irregular, has been laid aside, and is to be re-introduced. (Received February 9,1.10 a.m.) The intercolonial cricket match between Victoria and New South Wales commenced here to-day. The home team went in first and were all put out for 169 runs. At the close of to-day’s play the Victorians had lost two wickets for 23 runs. Adelaide, February 8. Arrived, this morning, the Orient steamship Lusitania, with the inward mails via Brindisi and Suez, dated London, January 3.
