THE BOROUGH LAMBS.

[to the editor.]

Sib—Whereas the half dozen infected sheep are industriously circulating that your humble servant has initiated the present prosecution for gain to myself, I beg to say that should my action be successful in cleansiug the infected by isolating them to quarantine, all the profits of the experiment shall go to the funds of the local Hospital for further curative purposes. I mean to have the accounts auditedin order to shew that not one penny of such trash shall I touch ; and if the local audit does not satisfy the lambs, why then, let them apply for a Government audit.—l am, &c., George Stewart. February 9, 1884.
