CIANDER & SONS' EUCALYPTI O EXTRACT. (Deutsche Med Wochenschrift 1879), Mosler, M.D. Professor at the University, Griefswald, Germany, reports: — The Eucalypti Extract proved magnificently successful in very severe contusions, bruhes, sprains, wounds, scalding.*, broken ribs, and limbs. It effectually stays all inflammation and swellings. Also, the services derived from it in all disorders of the respiratory organs, as croup, diphtheria, inflammation of the bronchial tubes and lungs, chronic catarrh, bronchitis, colds, &c, are not to be equalled by any other medicament. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. Lister, M.D., Professor, &c, London, the leading surgeon of the present lime r stated at the last meeting of the Clinical Society, London, as published iu Gaillard's Medical Journal, I hat the Eucalypti Extract is the best known antiseptic (means of preventing putrefaction). SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (American Medical Jonrnnl, Novem her, 18S1).—In diseases of the kidneys either active congestion or suppression (uraemia) all albuminuria, dropsy, lithia sis, nothing will equal in its action Eucalypti Extract. Doses, five to eight drops in a little sweetened water, twice or three times daily. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From American Medical Journal. Jan., 1882).—Pitzer, M.D., Professoi Theory and Practice of Medicine, American Medical College, says—lt is the best remedy known in typhomalarial, typhoid fever, erysipelas, diphtheria, scarlet fever, small-pox, &c. ; it effectually retards tint disintegration <>f the animal fluids, which might result in a general breaking-up of the blood and in death. SANDER. AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From St. Loo is Electric Medical Journal, Dec, ISBl).—Cancer or the Tongup—Patient, Mrs W -, 35 years old. Evidence of scrofulous diathesis. Prescribed four drops to le taken three times daily ; also, tongue wetted three times with the Eucalypti Extract. Treated as above for four weeks, then discharged cured. (J. 11. Prof., &c, Philadelphia).—Since, in the-case of Mr Mercer, i.f Kerang, who had been advised by the medical officers of the Bendigo Hospital to havo his tongue removed, like splendid results have attained through the application of the Eucalypti Extract. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (From the Clinical Record, of August, ISSl).—Surgical Clinic of P-ofessor M'L.tyre, College of Physicians and Surgeons, St. Louis Scinhus of Breast—Excision : Eucalypti Extract employed as spray, and dressing. Eight •lays after operation Professors Bauer and M'lntyre noted the following condition :—No swelling, heat or discolora tion, near or in the wound, which has united fully; the patient allowed to attend to her household duties again. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (Clinical Record, Sept. 1880).-The American medical profession uses, in gonorrhoea, as an injection, an emulsion of one ounce gum Arabic, in 30 or 40 ounces of water, applied four times daily. Eight drops given inwardly, once daily, prevents effectually, contamination of the blood iu foul disease. CAUTION. SANDER AND SONS' EUCALYPTI EXTRACT. (St. Louis Clinical Record Jan 1882).—Hazard, M.D. Prof, of Pathology and Diseases of the Mind, states: We have examined half a dozen specimens of Eucalypti Extract. Samlet's preparation was the only one which corres|.onds to scientific tests. Our preparation i< the only existing volatile extract, free of all resinous V nv tides. All other pteparations of the. Eucalyptus, no matter where manufactured, are crude, resinous oils, in-it:iiin'» and blistering, rather causing in'flan* mation than staying it, and of real danger if erronously applied in throat diseases, &c.
