[REUTER'S TELEGRAMS.] By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. NEW SOUTH WALES REVENUE. QUEENSLAND VEVENUE. (Received January 4, 1 p.m.) Sydney, January 4. The New South Wales revenue for the last quarter amounted t0£1,860,000, being a decrease of £226,500 as compared with the December quarter of 1882. The revenue for the year ending 31st December, amounts to £6,840,000, a decrease of £942,000 as compared with that for 1882. During the year the revenue from land decreased by £104,000. Want of rain is now being severely felt throughout this colony. Brisbane, January 4. The Queensland revenue for the last quarter amounted to £646,000, an increase of £130,500 as compared with the last quarter of 1882. The increase is chiefly in customs, land, and railway revenue.
