[united press association.] Dunedin, June 11. There has been a heavy fall of snow to-day. J. Dick, a boatman in the employ of the Harbor Board, was killed by a fall from a horse. Wellington, June 11. With reference to the cablegram from Sydney respecting the annexation the New Hebrides, the New Zealand Government have wired to Sir Dillon Bell, the Agent-General, instructing him to place himself in communication and act in conjunction with the AgentGeneral of "Victoria. This reply was sent the same day as the invitation was received from the sister colonies.
