It rapidly relieves pain from whatever cause, allays the irritation of fever, soothes and strengthens the system under exhausting and wasting diseases, and produces quiet and refreshing sleep. Four Chancery suits each terminated in its favor, and against Brown and Davenport, Lord Chancellor Selborne, Lord Justice James, and Lord Justice Mellish severely condemned their proceedings, and compelled them to pay all costs. —See “ Times,” April 29, 1873, and July 23, 1873.
