WARDEN'S COURT.
Friday, June 1. [Before J. Giles, Esq., Warden.] APPLICATIONS. The application of Ebenezer Stennard for a residence area on the Education Eeserve was objected to by William Pratt ; but granted, subject to objector's right to a hut on the ground, and four feet right-of-way along the southern boundary. The application of Conrad Werner for a residence area on the east side of the new road afc Jjawrikins was granted.
Margaret Mulholland's application for a residence area on the south..west side of Kumara and Dillman's road, which had been objected to by John Skipper and W. Sorensen, was granted, subject to any rights that exist. John O'Keefe's application, for a residence area at Patrick's Terrace, and which was opposed by Thos. Jones and Wni. Mills, was refused. Ross Cunningham applied for a residence area at Mignonette Flat.—• Granted; to have 2J chains frontage, and subject to all requirements of roadmaking as to deposit and removal of materials or otherwise, and ten feet of roadway between it and any other area. James Montgomery's application for a residence area fronting Wood's tramway, Scandinavian Lead, was granted, subject to the same conditions, but with 1\ chains frontage to tramway. Daniel Rowley's application for a residence area in the same locality was granted; to be chains square, and subject to the preceding conditions. Daniel M'Gowan applied for a residence area on Mignonette Flat road.— Granted, subject to same conditions. Hugh M'Master applied for a residence area on Mignonette Flat road.— Granted, subject to same conditions as Cunningham's application. Robert M'Gregor applied for a residence area on the Mignonette Flat road. Granted, subject to same conditions as previous application. John Reynolds and party applied for a tnnnel at Dillman's Town.—The application was objected to by Thomas Brown and party, but granted, conditionally that the tunnel be on the level of objector's tramway, and not in any way to interfere with the working of the ground. The application of Wm. Bass for a ! residence area on the Dillman's and Christchurch road was granted. Gregory Nilands applied for six months' protection for his extended claim at Ross Terrace.—Granted; to cease if able to resume work. There was no appearance of William Madden, when called, who had' applied for a residence area on Mignonette Flat road. Michael Borlase and party applied to divert the course of Holmes' Creek, at Barker's Flat, through a portion of Morris and pajty's and Wm. Bain and party's claims.—The application was opposed by Edward Johnson aad party, Mr Holmes wishing the deviation, if made to be permanent.—Application refused. John Caldwell and party applied for three months' protection for their extended claim near the Shallow Lead.— Granted. Jas. Miller, legal manager for the Long Tunnel Company, applied to drive a tunnel, 14|- chains at Sandy Stewart's Terrace, near the company's dam reservoir.—Granted. The same for a branch race, 15 chains, from their dam on Sandy's Flat.— Granted. Louis Dimante applied for a residence area on the west side of Patrick's Terrace.—Granted. Neil Paulsen and party applied for two months' protection for their tunnel beyond the Break.—Granted.
