Kumara, April 6, 1883. GREYMOUTH-HOKITIKA RAILWAY. HOKITIKA SLEEPER CONTRACT. Written TENDERS will be received at this Office until Noon of SATURDAY, the 28th APRIL, 1883, for the above Contract. They are to be marked on the outside " Tender for the Hokitika Sleeper Contract," and addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Greymouth. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at any telegraph office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders are lodged at any District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Drawings, Specifications, and general conditions may be sean at this Office; at the Survey Office, Hokitika ; and at the Court House, Ross. The lowest or any tender not necessarily accepted. The above will be sold privately to anyone making a resonable offer before the day of sale. All DEBTS due to S. S. POLLOCK mast be paid before the end of March, or proceedings will be taken for their recovery. T7UMARA SAWMILLS. DURING my absence Mr W. Crewel work, Point Lace, and every other description of Fancy Needlework executed at the shortest notice, and taught on reasonable terrjas.
