They are to be marked on the outside " Tender for the Hokitika Sleeper Contract," and addressed to the Hon. the Minister for Public Works, Greymouth. Telegraphic tenders, similarly addressed and marked, will be received, if presented at any telegraph office by noon of the same date, provided that written tenders are lodged at any District or Resident Engineer's Office by the same hour. Crewel work, Point Lace, and every other description of Fancy Needlework executed at the shortest notice, and taught on reasonable terras. "\EINHARD AND CO'S HOCKS JJ AND MOSELLES. Complaints having reached us that colonial wine bottled in the colonies in German bottles is sold in imitation of our genuine HOCKS and MOSELLES, we beg to caution the public against such fraudulent deceptions. All our labels bear our trade mark as above, in addition to the full name of our firm; our corks are branded D. and Co. ; and our trade mark has been duly registered in the Australian colonies, and all persons fraudulently using, manufacturing, or selling imitations will be prosecuted as the law directs.
