The annual election of Licensing Committees for the districts of the Borough of Kumara and Hohonu took place yesterday. For the Borough of Kumara there were six candidates, and the votes polled were as follow : O’Hagan, John ... ... 28 Hannah, John 26 Burger, Henry 24 Nicholson, William 23 Close, William 19 Campbell, A. C. ... ... 15 The first five-named were elected.
