By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. THE PHCENLK PARK MURDERS. IMPLICATION OF SHERIDAN. COMMITTAL OF THE PRISONERS. (Received February 20, 11.50 a.m.) London, February 19. Sheridan, who is stated to have negotiated the alleged Kilmainham treaty between Gladstone and Parnell, and by which the imprisoned Irish members obtained their liberty, has been implicated in the operations of the Assassins Committee by evidence given by the informers in the trial of the Phanix Park murder case. (Received February 20, 2.8 p.m.) At the Dublin Police Court to-day, the prisoners who are under arrest on the charge of assassinating Lord Frederick Cavendish and Mr Burke in the Phoenix Park have been committed for trial. [special to press association.] London, February 15. The prospectus of a new Australian Loan Company, with a capital of one million, and Mr Brett, as manager, has been issued. The, Committee of the Chamber of Deputies has rejected the proposed compromise on the Dynastic Bill, and advises the Chamber to insist on expulsion. The merchants of Paris have requested President Grevy to adopt measures to terminate the existing crisis. Cardinal MacCabe’s health is improving. — LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS. THE INTERNATIONAL CRICKET MATCH. (Received February 19, 10.10 p.m.) Sydney, February 19. The Australians at the close of today’s play had lost nine wickets for 249 runs. Bannerman, caught ... 10 Bonner, caught ... 87 Murdoch, bowled ... 0 Horan, caught ... ... 3 Giffen, caught ... ... 27 Midwinter, bowled ... 10 Blackham, bowled ... 57 Palmer, caught... ... 0 Spofforth, caught ... 10 Boyle, not out ... ... 21 Evans, nob out... ... 19 Extras ... ... 5 Total for nine wickets ... 249 Bonnor commenced badly, and had a narrow escape of being caught early in his innings. Subsequently, however, he improved. Giffen played well, and Blackham displayed excellent cricket during his innings. Evans and Boyle, who are both not out men, are in excellent form. The day was fine and the weather was much more favorable for the game than yesterday. Much interest is being taken in the contest. The following is the bowling analysis of the Englishmen’s innings:— Midwinter, 2 wickets for 52 runs; Palmer, 1 for 56 ; Spofforth, 2 for 50; Bonnor, 3 for 52.
