Breathe it softly 1 I am waiting; Speak the words I long to hear! Show thou art love’s tale relating; Where’s thy courage t have no tear I Men who say girls are deceitful Are low, vicious, void of truth ; For no true maiden plays the fool With real affections, bashful youth. Breathe it softly 1 Breathe it softly I how you linger I I am weary, thou art cold ; Can’et thou ring the magic finger ? Have some spirit man 1 be (Sold I See! bright eyes and cheeks are glowing, Heart and brain seem coals of fire ; Fevered blood through veins are flowing, Grant my bosom’s mild desire 1 Breathe it softly 1 Breathe it softly! let me hear it Murmured in a winning voice I Say our future, as the streamlet, Shall glow even ( I’ll rejoice. Treasure’s time will ruin, friends sever, Love wo may perpetual claim In this world and the hereafter Let me hold as wife’s thy name 1 Breathe it softly 1 Nospck.
