+ There was a meeting of the Borough Councillors at the Town Hall last evening. Shortly before o'clock his Worship the Mayor (J. O'Hagan, Esq.) took bis seat in the chair. It was to the effect that the debate on the motion by the Mayor—" That the r-solution passed by this Council on February 21st, recommending the Warden not to grant residence areas iu Main and Sedilon streets be rescinded, and that the Warden be written to informing him of the fact that this Council has no objection to the granting of such areas." be adjou.med till Monday next (19th inst), at 7.30 p.m. ' Cr. Campbell said this was an illegal meeting; and it would be unfair to councillors and unfair to the public to hold such discutjsiou. Cr. Barnett wished to know if Cr.
