The following memorandum of a visi6 to the Samara State School, made by the Inspector of Schools an Monday* la*t, will be read with gratification , by. parents and 'guardians J Monday, June 12th, 1882. Visited for general inspection. Weather fine. Present 255 children* Entered the school at 10.50 a.m.; left", at 5.10 p.m., The order, discipline, and general:, condition of the school are highly satis^: factory. Great improvements have been effected by the Head Teacher iri the management and in the methods of" struction. This is particularly observable in the object lessons, and in tW teaching of arithmetic. The time ; tables throughout the school are admirably drawn ftp,, and are exactly observed in evpry department.
