LATEST AUSTRALIAN NEWS, Adelaide, May 11. At the South Australian Jockey Club meeting to-day the race for the Adelaide Gold Cup was won by Euclid, with Commotion second. Belladrura and Pollio ran a dead heat for third place. Fourteen horses started, and E iclid won after a good race by a neck. Time, 3rnins. 36|secs. Brisbane; May 12, Intelligence has been received from Cardwell, that the steamer Ranelagh has gone ashore at King’s Pveef, near that place, and become a total wreck. The passengers were saved, but the mails were lost.
