BRITISH AMD FOREIGN. London, May 1. The match between Trickett and Hanlan was rowed to-day, the result being that Hanlan won by four lengths. Latest. Hanlan’s victory over Trickett was the easiest that, can be imagined. He stopped three times during the race, and literally “p'ayed” with Trickett. The weather was very tine, the-sun shining brightly, and the water was perfectly smnoili. Large cr wds of people witnessed the contest from the banks of the river all along the coarse.
