BRITISH AND FOREIGN. London, April 26. The Home Secretary has had under consideration further affidavit forwarded by President Arthur in support of the alleged insanity of Dr, Lamson, the Wimbledon murderer. After full enquiry, Sir William Vernon Harcourt has decided that the appeals made on behalf of the prisoner cannot be entertained, and it has been definitely decided that the sentence of death shall be carried out on Friday next, 2Stb.
